Introducing the Single Patient Record - A digital record that will bring together a patient's health information into one secure, easy-to-access place. It's not another system to learn. It's the right information, right where you need it.

By joining patient data from multiple sources, the Single Patient Record aims to give all patients more visibility of their data through the NHS App from 2028 and provide healthcare workers with access to the patient information they need to make safer, quicker, and more accurate decisions.

The SPR is the single most important enabler for delivering the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan For England. It will help develop the treatments of the future and enable the three strategic shifts: Hospital to community, Sickness to prevention, Analogue to digital.
